Overview

There is lift and stairs access between platforms via the bridge and there is stairs access via the subway.

There's tactile paving along the edge of each platform. Whilst we noted no tactile paving at the top or bottom of the steps to the subway, there are brightly coloured nosings on the steps.

Note that platform 1 is used bi-directionally so the doors will open as follows, as you face the front of the train:

From Which Platform?

  From Platform 1, Bi-Directional
From Platform 2, Eastbound

From Platform 1, Bi-Directional

Via the Subway

As you go from the front of longer westbound (rear of eastbound) trains, you pass a series of posts, seats etc before you reach the path leading right towards the car park.

As you go from the rear of westbound (front of eastbound) trains, you pass the ticket office building before you reach the path leading left towards the car park.

Turn away from the tracks and take the turning right. You go down four flights of steps into the subway. Turn right, continue to the wall at the end then turn right, go up four flights of steps and turn right onto platform 2. We believe you're beside the rear half of the train.

GO TO END

Via the Bridge

Via the Lifts>

Go beyond the front of eastbound (rear of westbound) trains. The steps to the bridge are in front of you, turn right for the lift.

The call button is to your right of the door, go up to bridge level then leave via the same door.

Continue to the far end of the bridge then turn right for the lift, again, the call button is to your right of the door. Go down to platform level and leave via the same door.

The rear of the steps is in front of you and there are pillars to either side of this space, move left to avoid these then continue beyond the foot of the steps, on your right. We believe you're near the front of the train.

GO TO END

Via the Steps

Go beyond the front of eastbound (rear of westbound) trains, the foot of the steps is in front of you. Go up a flight of steps, turn right (180 degrees) then go up another flight of steps onto the bridge. Turn right, continue to the end then turn left and go down two flights of steps before turning left onto the platform. We believe you're near the front of the train.

GO TO END

From Platform 2, Eastbound

Via the Subway

As you go from the rear of longer trains, you leave the wall of the former signal box then pass a series of planters and posts. There's a set of seats and another post before you reach the turning left towards the steps to the subway.

As you go from the front of the train, you leave the steps from the bridge then pass the shelter before you reach the turning right towards the steps to the subway.

Turn away from the tracks then take the turning left and go down four flights of steps into the subway. Turn left then take the turning left and go up four flights of steps before turning left onto platform 1. We believe you're about in the middle of the train.

GO TO END

Via the Bridge

Via the Lifts

Turn left and continue to the end, the lift door is in front of you with the call button to your right of the door. Go down to platform level, leave via the same door and continue to the side of the steps in front of you then turn left along the platform. We believe you're near the front of eastbound (rear of westbound) trains.
