The station is bounded by Praed Street to the southeast, Bishop's Bridge Road to the northwest (running northeast/southwest); London Street to the northeast and Eastbourne Terrace to the southwest (running northwest/southeast).
A taxi way runs northwest from the junction of Praed Street and Eastbourne Terrace past the main entrance to the station, whilst a slip way, for delivery vehicles runs northwest, from Praed Street, between the station and London Street.
The station has seven entrances/exits. Four of these are from the southwest side of the station onto the taxi way.
A fifth, southeast exit leaves from the concourse, opposite platform 10, via the slip way onto Praed Street.
The northeast exit, leaves from the bridge near the ramp from platform 9. Follow the path, turn left, (northwest) towards Bishop's Bridge Road, A4206. At the northeast end of the path is a brick wall sign posted "paths to left (northwest) Little Venice, Sheldon Square, Sainsbury's and Cannon's Health Club"; to the right, (southeast) leads to London Street which runs along the northeast side of the station.
The seventh exit is the walkway to the car park, which leaves from the far (northwest) end of Platform 1. This provides both stairs-only and step-free entry to the main part of the station. This walkway leaves platform 1 going southwest then turns northwest. There is a free phone on your right as you move away from the station.

The walkway continues for some distance, with various entrances to the car park. The details of this appear to lie beyond the scope of our survey.
The taxi way joins Praed Street at the junction with Eastbourne Terrace, traffic goes one way, from your right (southeast). If you cross the taxi road, you find a barrier on the northeast side of Eastbourne Terrace, turn right to locate the first crossing of Eastbourne Terrace.
This is a two-stage crossing with push buttons and rotating cones on both sides throughout; turn left then right in the central island.
Craven Road continues southwest from the junction of Praed Street and Eastbourne Terrace.
Opposite the main entrance to the station, about 100 metres from Praed Street, is Bus Stop E, Chilworth Street, with a bus ticket machine on the railings and a shelter with 2 benches. Chilworth Street leaves Eastbourne Terrace to the southwest, slightly southeast of here.

Go down 10 then 10 steps, going southeast. From the foot of these steps, is a railing to your left leading to the zebra crossing of the taxi way. Cross to the central island, there's a railing in front of you, turn right then left before crossing to the pavement. Go slightly right from here to locate the main entrance to the station, onto platform 1. Turn right towards the concourse.

This is a one-stage crossing with sounder, push buttons and cones to your right. There is no obvious island in the middle of the road, except to either side of the walkway.

This is a two-stage crossing with the button and cone to your right. Turn left then right on the central island, where the button is to your left.

This is a single-stage crossing with buttons and cones to each side. You cross to the island between London Street and the slip way into the station.

This runs northwest from Praed Street, down a slope into the station, about opposite platform 10. There's a pavement along each side of this road.
This leaves Eastbourne Terrace near the junction with Bishop's Bridge Road then runs southeast, past the station, to Praed Street. Traffic flows one way, southeast.

The end of railings to your right denotes the pick-up point for taxis. This is a man-controlled taxi pick-up area offering six pick-up points.

The wall continues to the corner with Praed Street. There's tactile paving in front of you for the crossing of Praed Street. This should be treated as a single--stage crossing with button to each side when crossing away from the station. When crossing towards the station the button is to your right.
