There is stairs and lift access between platforms. See the lifts page for details of lifts in this station.
The platform usage is as follows:
There is tactile paving along the edge of each platform.
The doors will open on your left as you face the front of the train.

As you move from the front of the train, you pass what we believe was a former waiting room, before you pass a series of benches then the steps to the intermediate level. The lift is in the waiting room beyond the steps. There's a help point on the wall before the bench nearest the top of the steps.

We believe the lift may be behind the rear of shorter trains. From the front of the train, go past the stairwell then through the second door in the building on your right and turn right. The lift door is in front of you, the call button is to your left of the door.
Go to the lower level, leave the lift via the other doors and turn right.
Locate the lift to platforms 2 - 3, which is the second door on your right. The call button is on the right-hand side of the doorway. Go to platform level then leave via the other doors. You're in the third building on the platform. Turn right for platform 2 and go through the automatic doors onto the platform. We believe you're beside the front half of the train. Turn left for platform 3 and go through the automatic doors onto the platform. We believe you may be behind the rear of shorter trains and beside the rear half of longer ones.
Turn right, continue to the end of the passage then take the turning left. Go up the first slope of the ramp, turn right (180 degrees) then go up the second slope into the ticket office. Turn left and locate the door to the lift, which is the second door on your left.
The call button is on the right-hand side of the doorway. Go up to platform level and leave via the other set of doors. You're in the waiting room, turn left and go through the door onto the platform, we believe you're beside the front half of the train.
We believe the top of the steps is beside the rear half of shorter trains. You go down three flights of steps, towards the rear of the train, into the intermediate level and turn left. Note that there's no central rail on the third flight.
Take the second turning left and go up two flights of steps to platform level.
Platform 2 is to your left, we believe you're beside the front half of shorter trains and about in the middle of longer ones. Platform 3 is to your right, we believe you're beside the rear half of shorter trains and about in the middle of longer ones.
Continue to the end of the passage, turn left and continue, up three flights of steps to platform level. Note that the first landing is longer than the second and that there is a gap in the central rail at this landing.
Turn left and go through the door onto the platform. We believe you're about in the middle of longer trains and beside the rear half of shorter ones.
We believe the steps to the intermediate level will be about in the middle of the train at either platform.
On platform 2, westbound, the doors towards the lift are beside the front of three car trains and beside the front half of longer ones.
On platform 3, eastbound, we believe the doors to the lift may be behind the rear of three car trains and beside the rear half of longer ones.
As you move from the rear of trains on platform 2, or front of those on platform 3, you pass the waiting room and kiosk, the steps to the intermediate level before you reach the next building housing the lift.

As you move towards the front of the train on platform 2, you pass the stairwell before you reach the building, go through the second door, the lift is the second door on your left.
As you move towards, or beyond, the rear of trains on platform 3, you pass the stairwell before you reach the building, go through the second door then turn right. The lift is the first door on your right.
The call button is on the left-hand side of the doorway. Go down to the low level and leave via the other doors.
Turn left and locate the lift to platform 1, which is the first door on your left.
The call button is on the left-hand side of the doorway. Go to platform level and leave via the other set of doors. You're in the waiting room, turn left and go through the door onto the platform. We believe you may be behind the rear of shorter trains and beside the rear half of longer ones.

Turn left, continue to the end of the passage then turn left. Continue, up three flights of steps to platform level. Note that the first landing is longer than the second and that there is a gap in the central rail at this landing.
Turn left and go through the door onto the platform. We believe you're about in the middle of longer trains and beside the rear half of shorter ones.
As you move from the rear of the train, you pass a help point blank door, the door to the steps then another blank door, before you reach the door to the waiting room and lift.

Go into the waiting room then turn right, the lift door is in front of you with the call button to your right of the door. Go down to the lower level then leave via the other doors. You're in the ticket office.

Follow the left-hand side, past a blank door, then the lift to platforms 2 - 3 and another blank door, before you reach the lift to platform 1 on your left. The call button is on the left-hand side of the doorway. If you find a button on the right, you've found the lift to platforms 2 - 3.
Go to platform level and leave via the other set of doors. You're in the waiting room, turn left and go through the door onto the platform. We believe you may be behind the rear of shorter trains and beside the rear half of longer ones.
Follow the left-hand side, past a blank door, then locate the lift to platforms 2 - 3, on your left. The call button is on the right-hand side of the doorway. Go to platform level then leave via the other doors. You're in the third building on the platform. Turn right for platform 2 and go through the automatic doors onto the platform. We believe you're beside the front half of the train. Turn left for platform 3 and go through the automatic doors onto the platform. We believe you may be behind the rear of shorter trains and beside the rear half of longer ones.

Continue to the end of the passage before turning right again. Go up three flights of steps to platform level. Note that there's no central rail in the first flight of steps.

Take the first turning right and go up two flights of steps to platform level.
Platform 2 is to your left, we believe you're beside the front half of shorter trains and about in the middle of longer ones. Platform 3 is to your right, we believe you're beside the rear half of shorter trains and about in the middle of longer ones.
