Having entered the station, follow the right-hand side. There's a gap in the hoarding, leading to a storage area which will probably become a cupboard, though at present, there's just a pillar. Beyond this, the wall retreats to a blank door and the first of four ticket sales windows. Partitions jut (south) between these windows, with a final (fourth) partition between the fourth window and the gap leading to the escalators to the eastbound mainline platform.
The first window (with a red counter) is for Subway ticket sales, the second and third will remain closed until the development of the station is complete, whilst the fourth (with a blue counter) is for Scotrail ticket sales.
Note that, as part of the building work in progress at this station, a row of pillars has been erected along the left-hand (south) side of the booking hall. The first two of these are in front of the automatic gates to the subway, the second (surrounded by wood) is between the entrance and exit gates. We suggest that, to reach the Subway, you cross the booking hall from the first sales window then turn right to locate the gates. The old ticket office is to be demolished in due course.
Subway staff can assist, including opening the manual gate and arranging for someone to meet you at your destination. You can also obtain help to the mainline station by asking staff at the Scotrail window.
