The doors open on your left as you face the front of the train. The waiting area, with two sets of double, push doors, is towards the north end of the platform. We believe this is about in the middle of three-car (towards the rear of six-car) trains. As part of the building work at this station, much of the platform furniture is behind hoardings which extend to each side of the entrance/exit.

Go through the doors into the waiting area. The up escalator from the booking hall is to your right, with the downward one beyond it. Move forward about three metres, turn right to locate the escalator then go down into the booking hall.
