THE BOOKING HALL |
DESCRIBE ONLINE |
The station can be closed with metal gates. You enter a wide passage leading west past the ticket sales windows to your right and the gates to the Subway to your left. The escalators to the mainline station are to your right, beyond the ticket sales windows, the first set lead to platform 1,eastbound, whilst the second set, from the end of the passage, lead to platform 2, westbound.
The building works in progress at this station have led to a row of posts being erected along the left-hand (south) side of the booking hall. The first two of these are in front of the automatic gates to the subway, whilst the remainder are outside the old ticket office which is to be demolished.
