You go down the escalator going east into an area which is recessed (north) from the platform. As you continue forward from the foot of the escalator, the wall juts out then veers left again to become the side of the platform. There is tactile paving along the platform edge.
Trains travel east, the foot of the escalator is behind the rear of the train.
