This station has been refurbished.

The Concourse

• This area has been opened up to include new ticket sales windows on the right-hand (north) side as you come in from the main entrance. Access to the mainline platforms is in front of you, whilst the gates to the Subway now face the escalators - follow the barrier on your left.
• A new (south) entrance has been opened beyond the barrier for the Subway.
• Ladies, gents and accessible toilets are being installed, the door to these is the first on your right as you come in via the main entrance. Note these were not open at the time of our survey, though we understand they were nearly complete.

Reaching the Mainline Platforms

Each platform can now be reached via stairs, lift or escalator. The waiting area beside each platform has been enlarged to include the top of the lift and stairs at the south end, whilst the top of the escalator is in the northern section.

The Mainline Platforms

The mainline platforms contain few features of interest except the two entrances to the waiting area. These are in the largely glass fronted building which is about in the middle of each platform.

The Subway

This is unchanged, except for the gates which now face the escalators. There are entrance and exit gates opposite the escalators to each circle.

The escalators, platforms and fire exit are unchanged by this refurbishment.
