There are two exits from this station. The main exit is via the concourse, which is between platforms 2 - 3, whilst the other is via the north car park which lies between platforms 4 and 7.
There is stairs or ramp access between all platforms via the main bridge. There is tactile paving along the edge of platforms 1, 2 and 6, but none on other platforms.
The following list gives the side of the train on which doors will open, as you face the front of the train.

You leave the station via the concourse which is between platforms 2 and 3. There is ramp or staris access from platforms 1 and 4 - 7 via the main bridge.

You can leave this platform via ramp or stairs using the main bridge.
The ramp goes up towards the front of the train. From the rear of the train, continue forward and locate the foot of the ramp in a recess to your left. From the front of the train, continue, following the right-hand side, past the steps then locate the foot of the ramp in a recess to your right, turn right (180 degrees).
Go up to the bridge, turn right, continue over a slight hump then take the first turning right, down the ramp onto platform 2. Turn right (180 degrees) then take the first turning right into the passage. The passage veers left before you reach the gap into the concourse, on your right. Continue through the concourse.
The steps go up, towards the rear of the train. Go up two flights of steps then turn left and continue over a slight hump. Take the first turning left, go down two flights of steps onto platform 2 then turn left (180 degrees) and take the turning left into the passage. The passage veers left before you reach the gap to the concourse on your right. Continue through the concourse.
The passage to the concourse is between the steps and ramp to the main bridge. Go into this passage, which veers left before you reach the gap to the concourse, on your right. Continue through the concourse.
The passage to the concourse is between the ramp and stairs to the main bridge. Note that the two sets of stairs to the north bridge are towards the front of the train and that you can walk under these stairs, be careful! Go towards the rear of the train, you'll pass the foot of the ramp to your left, before you reach the passage. If you find steps to the main bridge, going up towards the front of the train, turn back and find the passage on your right.
Go into the passage then take the turning left into the concourse. Continue through the concourse.
Although you could get to platform 3 via the north bridge, we recommend you use either the ramp or stairs of the main bridge, which are about in the middle of platform 4.
From platform 5, go towards the front of the train and take the turning right, before the beginning of the platform, towards the steps to the main bridge.
From platform 6, go beyond the front of the train, and turn right, beyond the end of the fence on your left. Continue to the building in front of you, turn right and take the turning left, towards the steps to the main bridge.
From platform 7, move to the middle of the platform and turn towards the building. Turn right and take the turning left towards the steps to the main bridge.
The ramp leads up towards the rear of the train on platform 4.
From the rear of the train, continue, past the steps up to the north bridge and follow the building, past the steps to the bridge and continue to the foot of the ramp. Turn right (180 degrees).
From the front of the train, continue, beyond the start of the building then follow the wall to the foot of the ramp, in front of you.
From platforms 5 - 7, continue onto platform 4, turn right and follow the wall to locate the foot of the ramp. Turn right 180 degrees).
Go up to the bridge, turn right then continue, over a slight hump then turn left, down the ramp, onto platform 3. Turn left (180 degrees) and take the turning left into the passage then take the turning left into the concourse. Continue through the concourse.
The steps go up towards the front of the train on platform 4. Note that the steps near the rear of the train are to the north bridge, this is not what you want.
From the rear of the train, continue, past the steps up to the north bridge and follow the building, past the turning to platforms 5 - 7 then bear slightly right to the steps to the bridge.
From the front of the train, continue, beyond the start of the building then follow the wall to the foot of the ramp, in front of you. Move right and follow the wall to locate the left turn then turn left (180 degrees).
From platforms 5 - 7 turn right before you reach platform 4, to the foot of the steps.
Go up two flights of steps, onto the bridge, turn left then continue over a slight hump then take the first turning right and go down two flights of steps onto platform 3. Turn right (180 degrees) and take the turning right into the passage then take the turning left into the concourse.
The middle of the concourse is occupied by seating and other obstacles. We therefore suggest you follow either side of the concourse to the end, before moving to the middle to locate the exit doors. As you leave the station, the taxi queue is in front of you, queuing from the right. See the Environs page for details of local roads and bus services.
We believe the best way to locate this exit is from platform 7, you need to reach the far (north) end of the car park then follow the pavement on the left-hand side of the exit road, onto Glasgow Road.
The car park extends along platform 7, almost opposite the middle passage from platform 4.
From platform 5, continue beyond the front of the train, beyond the beginning of the platform before moving left onto platform 7.
From platform 6, continue beyond the front of the train and continue, along platform 7.

From the front of the train, follow the wall, past the steps to the main bridge and locate the foot of the ramp in a recess to your right. Turn right (180 degrees).
From the rear of the train, follow the wall and locate the foot of the ramp in a recess to your left, the ramp goes up towards the front of the train.
Go up onto the bridge, turn right then continue, over a slight hump, along a flat section then over the second hump, to the end. Turn left and go down the ramp onto platform 4, turn left (180 degrees) and take the turning on your left through onto platform 5 then turn right.
From the front of the train, follow the wall and locate the steps up to the main bridge, in front of you.
From the rear of the train, follow the wall, past the recess to the ramp then turn left (180 degrees) to the foot of the steps, which go up towards the rear of the train.
Go up two flights of steps onto the bridge, turn left then continue, over a slight hump, along a flat section, then over the second hump, to the end. Turn right, go down two flights of steps onto platform 4 then take the turning left onto platform 5 and turn right.
The ramp and stairs to the main bridge are about in the middle of the platform.

GO TO ENDNote that the steps to the north bridge are near the front of the train. It may be easier to use this as the stairs route. If you need the ramp, you'll have to go towards the rear of the train for the main bridge.
From the front of the train, go past the two sets of steps to the north bridge. Note that you can walk under these stairs, be careful! Follow the wall, to the foot of the ramp to the main bridge.
From the rear of the train, continue past the steps to the main bridge and the passage to the concourse then locate the foot of the ramp. Turn right (180 degrees).
Go up onto the main bridge, turn right and continue, over a slight hump, to the end. Turn left, go down the ramp onto platform 4 then turn left (180 degrees), take the turning left and continue onto platform 5 then turn right.
From the front of the train, follow the wall and go up the steps in front of you. You go up a flight of steps, turn right then go up another flight of steps onto the bridge. Continue, down a flight of steps then turn right and go down another flight of steps onto platform 4. Continue forward then take the turning left and continue, across the south end of the car park, onto platform 7.
From the rear of the train, you'll probably find the steps to the main bridge. If you can go up two flights of steps, you're on the main bridge. Turn left then continue, over a slight hump, to the end. Turn right then go down two flights of steps onto platform 4. Turn left, continue onto platform 5 then turn right.
If you find the steps to the north bridge, you'll find downward steps in front of you beyond the top of the first flight. Turn left, up a flight of steps onto the bridge then continue, down a flight of steps. Turn right then go down a flight of steps onto platform 4 and continue forward. Take the first turning left and continue, across the south end of the car park onto platform 7.
