There are two entrances to this station, the main entrance which gives level access to platforms 2 - 3 plus ramp and stairs access to other platforms, or via the Glasgow Road entrance into the north car park. This gives level access to platforms 4 - 7 plus ramp and stairs access to other platforms.
There is tactile paving along the edge of platforms 1, 2 and 6, but none on the other platforms.

As you come into the concourse, the travel centre is to your right and the passage between platforms 2 and 3 runs across the far end.
There are seats and other obstacles along the middle of the concourse, so we suggest you move to either side before going to the far end, into the passage. Go into the passage then turn left, towards platform 2, or right for platform 3.
for platform 2, for Dundee and Aberdeen, you go up a slope, the passage veers right before you reach the platform. You're about in the middle of the train.
For platform 3, seldom used, you go down the slope onto the platform, you're about in the middle of the platform.

Having arrived on platform 2, you can turn left for the ramp or right for the stairs onto the main bridge.
Turn left from the end of the passage, follow the wall and locate the foot of the ramp. Turn left (180 degrees), go up onto the bridge then turn left. Go over the slight hump, to the end then turn left and go down onto the platform, we believe you're beside the rear half of the train.
Turn right from the end of the passage, follow the wall and locate the foot of the steps. Turn right (180 degrees) then go up two flights of steps onto the bridge. Turn right, continue over the slight hump, to the end then turn right and go down two flights of steps onto the platform. We believe you're beside the front half of the train.
Having arrived on platform 3, you can either turn right for the ramp, or left for the stairs onto the main bridge.

For platforms 6 - 7, turn right and continue, beyond the beginning of platform 5, then turn left. There's a gap, beyond the railings across the ends of tracks 5 - 6, onto platform 6, which is seldom used. Continue, beyond this gap, onto platform 7, for trains to Inverness, we believe you're about in the middle of the train.

If you're arriving on foot, you go down the ramp from Glasgow Road, there's a pavement on the right-hand side, until you reach the car park. You then have to make your way to the far end of the car park and go through one of the gaps onto platform 7, for trains to Inverness, we believe you're beside the front half of the train.
For other platforms, turn left and continue, beyond the end of the car park.
Continue, following the building on your left then take the turning left towards the stairs to the main bridge. Note the middle passage to platform 4 is almost beside the end of the car park, this is not where you want to be.
You can either go up the stairs, to your right just before you reach platform 4, or turn right along platform 4 for the ramp.
Continue onto platform 4, turn right then follow the building and locate the foot of the ramp on your right. Turn right (180 degrees), go up onto the bridge then turn right. Continue, over a slight hump, along a flat section then over the second slight hump, to the end then turn left and go down the ramp onto the platform. We Believe you're beside the rear half of the train.
Locate the foot of the steps, to your right before you reach platform 4 and go up two flights of steps onto the bridge. Turn left, continue over a slight hump, then along a flat section then over another slight hump, to the end then turn right and go down two flights of steps onto the platform. We Believe you're beside the front half of the train.

Unless you need the ramp, we suggest you turn left immediately beyond the end of the car park then use the north bridge to reach this platform.
Continue, following the building on your left then take the turning left towards the stairs to the main bridge. Continue onto platform 4, turn right then follow the building and locate the foot of the ramp on your right. Turn right (180 degrees), go up onto the bridge then turn right. Continue, over a slight hump, then turn left and go down the ramp onto the platform. We believe you're beside the front half of the train.
Turn immediately left, into the middle passage, onto platform 4 then turn right and locate the foot of the steps to the north bridge, in front of you. Go up a flight of steps, turn left then go up another flight of steps. Continue over a slight hump, then go down a flight of steps. From here, you can turn either left or right and go down a flight of steps onto the platform. We believe you're beside the rear half of the train.
Note that the top tread of each flight of steps onto platform 3 slopes down.
Turn immediately left and continue through the passage onto platform 4. We believe you're beside the rear half of the train.
Continue, following the building on your left. Note that the passage towards the steps to the main bridge leaves from platform 5, at this point, you're beside the rear of the train.
Continue, along platform 7 till you find the fence between this platform and platform 6. It's probably easier to go back from here, round the end of the fence, onto the beginning of the platform. Note that, although seldom used, this is the only platform in this group to have tactile paving along the edge.
