Find a platform from an entrance
Although there is step-free access to each platform, some users may find the route to platform 2, westbound, a bit steep. See the Environs page for more details.
The main entrance provides stairs access to platform 1 and to platform 2 via the bridge.
There is tactile paving along the edge of each platform.

Leave Princes Street and continue to the cul de sac at the end of the side street. The ramp leads up to your right from here.
Go up the first slope, turn left (180 degrees) then continue to the top of the second slope. Follow the pavement left then right and continue to the wall or steps, in front of you. There are two disabled persons parking bays to your right. Turn right, take the turning left and continue to the end of the rail on your right. From here you can turn right onto the platform, we believe you're beside the front half of the train. If you need a ticket, follow the left-hand side then take the turning left, the sales window is on your left after a few metres.

Go up two flights of steps, turn right then go up eight steps onto the bridge. Continue, down eight steps then turn right and go down two flights of steps and turn right onto the platform. We believe you're near the rear of shorter trains and about in the middle of longer ones.
GO TO END
Note, some users may find this route a bit steep.
Leave Highholm Avenue and follow the path which curves to your right. Pass between bollards and follow the path, with a mesh fence to either side, there's a bollard in the middle at the end of this path. Turn left, at the end of the fence on your left, onto the platform. We believe you're about in the middle of the train.
