From the westbound, the doors open on your left as you face the front of the train. The front of four coach trains will be near the foot of the stairs onto the bridge to platform 2 and the top of the ramp towards Hall Road. The front of longer trains will be near the top of the steps to Hall Road.

From the eastbound, the doors open on your left as you face the front of the train. The exit to the car park and steps to the bridge to platform 1 are just beyond the rear of four coack trains. The exit via the concourse is about in the middle of the platform.

To reach the town, continue forward through the entrance to the car park (left and right from the concourse) and follow the left side of the station approach. The wall gives way to a wire fence with trees after a few metres. At the end (first down kerb) you're in Bradley Way. Cross the station approach to your right and continue to the Zebra crossing, about 50 metres. This has a distinctive dropped kerb and tactile paving. Cross Bradley Way and turn right towards the town.
