CHANGE PLATFORMS

DESCRIBE ONLINE

Overview

There is ramp and steps access to the road bridge from each platform. Although we found three exits from platform 2 into the car park, see the description of platform 2 for details, we'll restrict these directions to the direct route from the platform to the road bridge. The exits from platform 1, eastbound are near the rear of the train.

The doors will open on your left as you face the front of the train. There is tactile paving along the edge of each platform.

From Which Platform?

  From Platform 1, Eastbound
From Platform 2, Westbound

From Platform 1, Eastbound

As you go towards the rear of the train, you pass the foot of the ramp before you reach the path towards the steps.

Via the Ramp

Turn away from the tracks then turn right and go up the first slope. Turn left (180 degrees) and go up the second slope to street level and continue along the short path onto the pavement.

Turn left, continue past the bus shelter. The first turning left is down two then two steps into the car park, whilst the next turning is the step-free access road.

Turn left into the access road and follow the left-hand side, past the bike shelter and bike rakcs, to the bottom of the slope then move slightly right then left onto the platform. We believe you're near the front of the train.

GO TO END

Via the Steps

Move slightly right then follow the short path and go up two flights of steps to street level. Continue, along the short path onto the pavement.

Turn left then take the first turning left (before the bus shelter. You go down two flights of steps then follow the short path, moving left before continuing along the platform. We believe you're near the front of the train.

GO TO END

From Platform 2, Westbound

Go to the front of the train and take the turning left. From here, you can turn right for the steps or continue up the slope, through the car park.

Via the Car Park

As you follow the right-hand side, up the slope, you pass bike racks, then a bike shelter on your right. From here, you could take the short cut up two then two stetps onto the pavement, otherwise, follow the access road to the top.

Turn right, pass the bus shelter and the steps to platform 2 before crossing the bridge and taking the next turnhing right. Keep left and continue down the first slope of the ramp. Turn right (180 degrees) and go down the second slope to platform level then turn left onto the platform. We believe you're near the rear of the train.

GO TO END

Via the Steps

Go up three flights of steps onto the pavement.

Turn right, cross the bridge then take the turning right. Keep right and continue down two flights of steps to platform level. Follow the short path, moving slightly right before continuing along the platform. We believe you could be behind the rear of the train, continue at least as far as the foot of the ramp, on your left.
