Location

The station is off the south side of Station Road (east/west) which crosses the tracks just northeast of the station.

The car parking area along the southeast side of the station, adjacent to platform 1 is divided into two areas by the station building. We'll call these the northeast and southeast car parks.

Entrances and Exits

There are four entrances/exits to this station:

From Station Road onto Platform 2, Eastbound

You leave station Road, going south then veer right (southwest) and go down 32 wide, unevenly spaced steps, going southwest before turning left onto the platform. There's a hand rail on the left-hand (southeast) side and a low wall on the right-hand side of these steps.

From Station Road onto Platform 1, Westbound

Via the Ramp

The top of the ramp is just beyond (east of) the top of the steps. The first slope is parallel to Station Road. Turn right (almost 180 degrees, southwest) at the bottom and continue to platform level, turn right and continue past the foot of the steps, on your right, onto the platform. You're at the northeast end, turn left for the ticket office.

Via the Steps

From the east end of the bridge, you go down 14, 16 then two steps, going southwest to platform level then move right onto the platform. You're at the effective end of the platform.

From the Car Parks

There is level access from the northwest side of each car park onto the platform. From the northeast car park, continue past the foot of the ramp and steps onto the platform then turn left for the ticket office. From the southwest car park, move onto the platform, you're near the southwest end.
