PLATFORM 2, EASTBOUND
This is a separate platform along the northwest side of the station serving trains towards Edinburgh. There is tactile paving along the edge of the platform.
There is now ramp access to this platform. The entrance/exit from the ramp is near the northeast end of the platform, just before (southwest of) the shelter. The ramp is in two sections, steps lead from the top of the first section, towards the far (southwest) end of the platform.
From the south side of station road, just west of the bridge, you go down the first slope (southwest). At the bottom of this slope, steps continue (southwest), opposite the top of the second slope, to platform level. Turn left (180 degrees, northeast) and go down the second slope to platform level, there's a departures screen above the shelter in front of you, turn right onto the platform.
If you use the steps, move left from the bottom of the first slope then continue forward, down 20 steps, going southwest to platform level then turn left onto the platform. There's tactile paving at the top and bottom of these steps.
