Lines Served

This is a through station in the Glasgow Subway which runs approximately north/south through the station.

Layout

There are two separate platforms with the inner circle lying west of the outer. The downward escalators from the booking hall to each platform bring you near the rear of the train, whilst the upward escalators to the booking hall leave from the front.

The long, rectangular booking hall has the ticket sales office between the two gate lines. The booking hall is joined by escalators and steps to the north entrance, near Argyle Street, whilst steps only link the booking hall to the south entrance beside the St Enoch Centre.

Accessibility

Whilst there is stairs-only access from the south entrance to the booking hall and stairs and escalator access from the north entrance, there is escalator-only access between the booking hall and the platforms. We therefore believe that this station is not accessible to Guide Dog users unless they can arrange for escalators to be stopped. This station is not accessible to wheelchairs.
