Lines Served

This is a through station on the GNER line between London King's Cross and Edinburgh and also on the WAGN line between King's Cross/Moorgate, Peterborough and Cambridge, which run north/south through the station.

Layout

There are four platforms numbered 1 to 4 from east to west, sharing two island platforms. A bridge joins these island platforms, about in the middle, to the booking hall which includes the station entrance.

The station entrance is on the north side of a bridge, which is always available for public access. This bridge also crosses Lytton Way (the A602) which runs north/south, to the east of the station.

The East end of the bridge leaves the Danesgate shopping centre, whilst the west end offers easy access to the Kings Park Leisure Centre.

Accessibility

There is step-free access from each end of the bridge, lift access between the bridge and the west side of Lytton Way, though a RADAR key is needed to operate this between 18:30 and 06:30 hours. There is lift access, operated by staff, between the bridge and each island platform.

On this basis, we believe the station is accessible to wheelchair and guide dog users.
