This section describes stairs and lift routes between platform 2 and 3 - 8, plus the stairs-only route to platforms 9 - 10.
The bridge and lifts are about in the middle of the platforms, north/south and nearer platform 3 on the island platform 3 - 8.
Note, there is tactile paving along all platforms except 7, 9 and 10.

The exit to the concourse is via a wide gap in the building into which the walls curve towards the gate line. The steps to the bridge are on your right, just after you've gone up the slight slope from the platform, into this exit.
To find the lift, go along the platform from the exit, towards the front of the train. You'll find the lift shaft jutting out into the platform. You need to go round this to find the lift door. See the lifts page for details.

Go to level 1, the bridge, turn left, go down the ramp then follow the left-hand side of the bridge. Go up the ramp in front of you then turn left to the lift. Go down to level G, platform level. You're about in the middle of platform 3, facing the rear of the train. turn left onto the platform
You go up seven, eight, six then six steps, curving right, onto the bridge. Continue, following the right-hand side, down six, six, eight then eight steps, curving to your right, to platform level. If you have upward steps in front of you, you've gone to the east bridge, move to your right and continue down to platform level.
The foot of the steps is about in the middle of the island platform, north/south and nearer platform 3. Turn right onto platform 3.
You go up seven, eight, six then six steps, curving right, onto the bridge. Continue, following the right-hand side, down six steps. Move to the left-hand side and go up the six steps, in front of you, onto the east bridge. Continue forward, down six steps, then turn right and go down seven, eight then eight steps onto the platform. Platform 9 is to your right, platform 10 to your left, you're about in the middle of the platform. There is no tactile paving along the edge of these platforms.
The steps and lift are about in the middle (north/south) of this island platform. The lift shaft is on platform 3, separated from the building, whilst the foot of the steps is in a gap in the building, nearer to platform 3.
The doors will open on your right on platform 4, on your left on platform 5, as you face the front of the train.
Continue, beyond the front of the train. The building starts about ten metres beyond the beginning of the platform. Move right, onto platform 3 and continue to the lift or steps.
We understand this is a bi-directional platform, so the doors open on your left, for northbound, right for southbound trains, as you face the front of the train.
Ideally, you should go through the gap in the building, about in the middle of the platform. You'll pass the foot of the steps on your right. For the lift, continue, onto platform 3, turn right and locate the lift shaft, separated from the building by a short passage.
The doors will open on your left, for platform 7, right for platform 8, as you face the front of the train.
Continue, beyond the front of the train. The building starts about ten metres beyond the beginning of the platforms. Move left, onto platform 3 and continue to the gap in the building on your right. turn right then locate the foot of the steps on your left. Otherwise, continue forward and locate the lift shaft, separated from the building by a short passage.

Follow the left-hand side and go down six, six, eight then seven steps, curving left, to platform level. turn left and go down the slight slope onto the platform. You're about in the middle of the platform, though we believe you're near the rear of shorter trains.

Continue forward, down six steps, then turn right and go down seven, eight then eight steps onto the platform. Platform 9 is to your right, platform 10 to your left, you're about in the middle of the platform. There is no tactile paving along the edge of these platforms.

The steps are about in the middle of the platform. The section near the front of the train at platform 9, near the rear of arriving trains at platform 10, is gravel, rather than concrete.

Go up the six steps in front of you onto the west bridge. Follow the left-hand side, down six, six, eight then seven steps, curving left to platform level then turn left and go down the slight slope onto the platform. You're about in the middle of the platform, though we believe you're near the rear of shorter trains.

As you face the edge of platform 3, platforms 4 - 5 are to your right, platform 6 is behind you, on the other side of the building, whilst platforms 7 - 8 are to your left.
Turn right and continue to the end of the building on your right. As you continue forward, platform 4 begins about 10 metres beyond the end of the building.
For Platform 5, turn right at the end of the building and continue onto platform 6 then turn left. Platform 5 begins on your left, about ten metres beyond the end of the building.
Turn left from the foot of the steps and continue through the gap in the building, onto the platform.
Turn left from the lift, continue following the left-hand side then take the turning left, through the gap in the building, onto the platform. You're about in the middle of platform 6.
Turn left and continue along platform 3, to the end of the building.
For platform 7, continue forward, platform 7 begins on your left about ten metres beyond the end of the building. Note, there's no tactile paving along the edge of this platform.
For platform 8, turn left at the end of the building, continue onto platform 6 then turn right. Platform 8 begins on your right about ten metres beyond the end of the building.
