There is step-free access from platform 1 to the car park and from platform 2 to Dennis Roger Lane. There is stairs-only access from the platforms to the ticket office.
The doors will open on your left as you face the front of the train. There is tactile paving along the edge of each platform.
The quickest route between platforms is via the subway, whilst step-free routes are via Arduthie Road and Dennis Roger Lane, we estimate about 400 metres.
From Platform 1, Southbound|
From Platform 2, Northbound
As you go from the front of longer trains, you pass two benches before you reach the station building. Continue, past another bench, the gap to the steps to the ticket office is the first on your right. Continue beyond the building for the steps and ramp to the car park.
As you go from the rear of longer trains, you pass a building, not for public use, before the gap to the steps and ramp to the car park on your left. Beyond this, is the station building with the third doorway on your left leading to steps to the ticket office.
Leave the platform, there's a slight lip at the exit. Continue down a flight of steps, turn right and continue down another flight into the ticket office. Turn right here, go down a flight of steps and continue to the end of the subway. Turn left then go up two flights of steps to platform level. Turn left and go through the pull door onto the platform, we believe you're beside the rear half of the train.
GO TO END
Leave the platform, turn left and go down the first slope. Turn right, go down the second slope then turn right again and go down the third slope onto the pavement.
Tactile paving leads from here to the door to the ticket office. Turn left outside the door and cross the car park, into Station Road. Continue, along the right-hand side to the main road (Arduthie Road) then turn right. You pass the hotel on your right then cross a side street before the road turns right. Continue, under the rail bridge then take the first turning right (Dennis Roger Lane).
Continue, up the slope, as the slope slackens, you pass steps leading right before you reach the first ramp. turn right (180 degrees) and go up the slope to platform level then turn left onto the platform. We believe you may be behind the rear of shorter trains.
You could continue, past the two sets of steps then take the next turning right, up the slope onto the platform. We believe you'd then be just beyond the front of the train.
GO TO END
We believe the northeast ramp is beyond the front of the train.
As you go from the front of the train, you pass the path to the middle and northeast steps before you reach the main building, the first door leads to the subway. You pass the shelter before the path to the southwest ramp, beyond which is a gravel area. The path to the southwest steps is beyond this.
As you go from the rear of longer trains, you may pass the path to the southwest steps, then a gravel area, beyond which is the path to the southwest ramp. You then pass the shelter before you reach the main building, the doorway leads to the subway. the path to the middle and northeast steps is just beyond this.
Leave the platform through the push door into the waiting room then turn right. Go down two flights of steps, turn right then continue up a flight of steps into the ticket office.
Turn left, go up a flight of steps, turn left and go up another flight of steps to platform level. Continue, over a slight lip, onto the platform. We believe you're beside the rear half of the train.
GO TO END
Leave the platform, turn right and continue down the slope, to pavement level. Turn left (180 degrees) at the bottom then continue down the hill to Arduthie road.
Turn left, continue under the rail bridge then follow the road round to the left. You go up a slight hill, across a side street, past the hotel on your left before taking the next turning left (Station Road).
Continue, across the car park, to the station building then turn right.
The foot of the ramp is to your right of the steps in front of you. Go upp the first slope, turn left, go up the second slope, turn left and go up the third slope before turning right onto the platform. We believe you're beside the rear half of the train.
