Find an exit from a Platform

Describe Online

Overview

There is step-free access from platform 1 to the car park and from platform 2 to Dennis Roger Lane. Although there's step-free access from the ticket office into the car park, there is stairs-only access from the platforms.

The doors will open on your left as you face the front of the train. There is tactile paving along the edge of each platform.

From Which Platform?

  From Platform 1, Southbound
From Platform 2, Northbound

From Platform 1, Southbound

As you go from the front of longer trains, you pass two benches before you reach the station building. Continue, past another bench, the gap to the steps to the ticket office is the first on your right. Continue beyond the building for the steps and ramp to the car park.

As you go from the rear of longer trains, you pass a building, not for public use, before the gap to the steps and ramp to the car park on your left. Beyond this, is the station building with the third doorway on your left leading to steps to the ticket office.

Via the Ticket Office

Leave the platform, there's a slight lip at the exit. Continue down a flight of steps, turn right and continue down another flight into the ticket office. Turn left here, through the pull doors, onto the pavement.

GO TO END

Via Steps to the Car Park

Leave the platform, continue down one step then turn right and go down a flight of steps onto the pavement.

GO TO END

Via the Ramp to the Car Park

Leave the platform, turn left and go down the first slope. Turn right, go down the second slope then turn right again and go down the third slope onto the pavement.

GO TO END

From Platform 2, Northbound

We believe the northeast ramp is beyond the front of the train.

As you go from the front of the train, you pass the path to the middle and northeast steps before you reach the main building, the first door leads to the subway. You pass the shelter before the path to the southwest ramp, beyond which is a gravel area. The path to the southwest steps is beyond this.

As you go from the rear of longer trains, you may pass the path to the southwest steps, then a gravel area, beyond which is the path to the southwest ramp. You then pass the shelter before you reach the main building, the doorway leads to the subway. the path to the middle and northeast steps is just beyond this.

Via the Subway

Leave the platform through the push door into the waiting room then turn right. Go down two flights of steps, turn right then continue up a flight of steps into the ticket office. Continue forward, through the pull door, onto the pavement.

GO TO END

Via the Northeast Ramp

Go beyond the front of the train, take the turning left and continue down the slight slope to the pavement. From here you can turn left and continue down the hill to Arduthie Road.

GO TO END

Via the Middle or Northeast Steps

Leave the platform then either take the turning right or left and go down seven steps to pavement level. If you turned right, turn left (180 degrees) otherwise continue down the hill to Arduthie Road.

GO TO END

Via the Southwest Ramp

Leave the platform, turn right and continue down the slope, to pavement level. Turn left (180 degrees) at the bottom then continue down the hill to Arduthie road.

GO TO END

Via the Southwest Steps

Leave the platform, turn left and go down a flight of steps. Turn right then go down a flight of steps to pavement level then turn left and continue down the hill to Arduthie Road.
