This is a separate platform along the southeast side of the station serving southbound trains towards Montrose, Dundee and beyond. There is tactile paving along the edge of the platform.

To Reach

This platform can be reached via stairs from the ticket office, or steps/ ramp outside the building.

From the Ticket Office

You go up six steps, going northeast, turn left (northwest) and go up seven steps, going northwest to platform level. There's a hand rail to each side of these steps. Continue, over a slight lip, onto the platform.

Via Steps Outside the Building

You go up eight steps, going northeast, turn left and go up one step, going northwest, to platform level.

Via the Ramp

You go up the first slope, going northeast, turn left then go up the second slope, going northwest. Turn left, go up the third slope, going southwest then turn right (northwest onto the platform.
