An extensive car park lies between the west side of Station Road (north/south) and the station. This car park is in two sections, which we'll call north and south.
Station Road continues (north) before turning left (west) across the tracks.
There are four entrances/exits to this station.
From just west of the road bridge, turn south and continue (south) down the first slope, pass the turning left and continue to the end of the slope. Turn left (east) then left again (north) and continue down the second slope and turn right onto the platform, about in the middle.
From just west of the road bridge, turn south and continue (south) down the first slope. Take the furst turning left (east) then turn left again (north) and continue onto the bridge then turn right (east).
From here, you can take the first turning right, down three flights of steps onto platform 1, or continue to the end of the bridge, turn right and go down three flights of steps onto platform 2. You're near the north end of either platform.
From Station Road, turn (west) onto the right-hand (north) side of the car park entrance and continue to the tactile paving. This denotes a zebra crossing over the access to the north section of the car park. Turn left, cross this road and continue (south) pass two electric vehicle charging points (on right), which serve the north section of the car park. Turn right (west) beyond these and continue, bearing left, onto the platform.
Simply continue (west) from the car park onto the platform, near the south end. Note that there are three accessible parking bays in this section of the car park.
We found no pedestrian controlled crossings within the scope of this survey. We note, however, that Station Road seemed to be relatively quiet at the time of our survey.
We found no bus stops within the scope of this survey.
There's a bike shelter on the west side of the car park, beside the steps to the bridge.
