THE MIDLAND MAINLINE PLATFORMS 1 TO 4 |

From the north escalator from the Level 0 concourse, the Midland Mainline, platforms 1 to 4 are in front of you. You go up a slope towards the platforms. These platforms are now gated.
There are two island platforms, 1 – 2 west of 3 – 4. These are the same, so we only surveyed one island. There's tactile paving along the edge of the platforms.

Note that the direction of these gates may vary according to demand. There are three ticket machines on the right-hand (east) wall before you reach the gate line.
