FIND A PLATFORM FROM AN ENTRANCE

DESCRIBE ONLINE

Overview

There is step-free access from the west approach road onto platform 1 either via the ticket office or directly onto the platform. There is also step-free access from the east approach road onto platform 2. There is stairs access between platforms via the bridge.

There is no tactile paving along the edge of either platform.

As the two approach roads are quite close together from either St Meddans Street or Victoria Drive, we'll limit these directions to:

via Which Route?

To Platform 1 Via the Ticket Office

A draught lobby juts out from the building with the entrance door facing toward St Meddans Street. Go through this pull door, turn left then go through another pull door into the ticket office.

The ticket sales window, with induction loop, is on your right, whilst the push door to the platform is in front of you. As you go onto the platform, we believe you're beside the rear half of shorter trains and about in the middle of longer ones.

GO TO END

To Platform 1 from the West Approach Road

There's a short path leading onto the platform as you approach the station from St Meddans Street. A similar path on the Victoria Drive side of the building was closed at the time of our survey.

As you reach the platform, the foot of the steps to the bridge is to your left, we believe you're about in the middle of shorter trains and beside the front half of longer ones.

GO TO END

To Platform 2 from the East Approach Road

There's a path to either side of the building onto the platform.

If you use the path on the St Meddans Street side, the foot of the steps to the bridge is to your right as you reach the platform, we believe you're behind the rear of shorter trains and beside the rear half of longer ones.

If you use the path on the Victoria Drive side, we believe you're beside the rear half of shorter trains and about in the middle of longer ones.

GO TO END

To Platform 2 from the Ticket Office

A draught lobby juts out from the building with the entrance door facing toward St Meddans Street. Go through this pull door, turn left then go through another pull door into the ticket office.

The ticket sales window, with induction loop, is on your right, whilst the push door to the platform is in front of you. Go onto the platform, turn left and continue beyond the end of the building, to the foot of the steps.

Go up a flight of steps, turn right then go up another flight onto the bridge. Continue, down a flight of steps, turn right and go down another flight onto platform 2. We believe you're behind the rear of shorter trains and beside the rear half of longer ones.
