Overview

This is a separate platform along the east side of the station serving trains towards Ayr and Stranraer.

There is no tactile paving along the edge of the platform.

Features are on the right-hand (east) side of the platform unless stated otherwise.

To Reach

There is level access from the east approach road or stairs access via the bridge from platform 1.

You go in facing east, up the slope before the door. This is a rectangular space with seating and departure screen at the north end.

Note also that you can get between the stairs and the fence, though this should be blocked by the open gate from the car park.
