FIND AN EXIT FROM A PLATFORM

Overview

There is step-free access from each platform to Station Road. There is also step-free access from platform 2 to Old Glasgow Road. There is stairs access from Platform 1 to Old Glasgow Road via the bridge.

The doors will open on your left as you face the front of the train. There is no tactile paving along the edge of either platform.

From Which Platform?

  From Platform 1, Westbound
From Platform 2, Eastbound

From Platform 1, Westbound

As you go from the front of the train, you reach the pillars supporting the bridge, then the steps before the right turning to the exit. Note that there is a barrier in front of the steps on this platform.

As you go from the rear of the train, you pass the station building before you reach the turning left to the exit, the steps to the bridge are in front of you.

To Main Street

Go through the exit, turn left and follow the left-hand side of Station Road, up the hill till you reach the Main Street.

GO TO END

To Old Glasgow Road

Go to the foot of the steps then up a flight of steps, turn right and go up another flight onto the bridge. Continue, down a flights of steps, turn right then go down another flight onto platform 2.

Turn left, off the platform, then left again and follow the path till you reach the main road. There's a metal rail along the middle of the pavement opposite the end of this path.

From Platform 2, Eastbound

As you go from the front of the train, you pass the shelter before turning right to the exit.

As you go from the rear of the train, you find the pillars supporting the bridge. Note that you can go underneath the steps on this platform, be careful! Continue, beyond the foot of the steps then turn left for the exit.

To Main Street

Go through the exit from the platform, turn right and follow the right-hand side, up the hill to Main Street.

GO TO END

To Old Glasgow Road

Go through the exit, turn left and follow the path to the end. There's a metal rail along the pavement opposite the end of this path.
