FIND A PLATFORM FROM AN ENTRANCE
There is step-free access from Main Street to each platform and step-free access from Old Glasgow Road to platform 2. There is stairs access between platforms via the bridge.
There is no tactile paving along the edge of either platform.
To Platform 1, Westbound|
To Platform 2, Eastbound
This platform can be reached directly via Station Road, or there is stairs access from the north car park and platform 2 via the bridge.
Follow the right-hand side of Station Road, down the hill. You pass a mesh fence, then railings in front of a disused part of the building, beyond the railings is a blank door then the automatic door into the ticket office. The path to platform 1 is just beyond the end of the building.
If you go through the ticket office, the sales window, with variable height counter and induction loop is on your left. Continue forward through the automatic door onto the platform. We believe you're about in the middle of the train.
GO TO END
We'll only include the route from Old Glasgow Road, as Station Road is near the road to platform 2.
Turn into the path from Old Glasgow Road, just north of the rail bridge and continue, up the hill. There's a mesh fence on your right until you reach the entrance to the platform. At this point, the foot of the steps to the bridge is to your right.
Turn right, go up a flight of steps then turn left and go up another flight onto the bridge. Continue, down a flight of steps, then turn left and go down another flight onto platform 1. We believe you're beside the front half of the train.
GO TO END
Take the turning just north of the rail bridge (the opposite side to Station Road) and follow the left-hand side down the hill till you reach the gap in the fence, onto the platform. Turn left here, we believe you're about in the middle of the train.
GO TO END
Turn into the path from Old Glasgow Road, just north of the rail bridge and continue, up the hill. There's a mesh fence on your right until you reach the entrance to the platform. At this point, the foot of the steps to the bridge is to your right, we believe you're beside the rear half of the train.
