Find a platform from an entrance
You can enter the station concourse either via the east entrance (from the forecourt), or the west entrance (from the car park). If the concourse is closed, you can reach the foot bridge via the passage which runs beside the concourse building, from either the forecourt or car park.
As you enter the concourse from the east entrance, the ticket sales windows are on your right, behind a barrier. The gates are to your left, with the automatic gates before the manual one. There is a ticket machine beyond these. Go through the gates, onto the foot bridge
As you enter from the west entrance, the ticket sales windows are to your left, behind a barrier. There is a ticket machine to your right, before the manual gate. The automatic gates are beyond this. Go through the gates, onto the foot bridge
As you enter the passage, from the forecourt, there is a "Permit to Travel" vending machine in front of you, before you turn right into the passage. Having enterd the passage, there is an intercom on the wall to your right. Locate the entrance to the foot bridge to your left.
As you enter the passage from the car park, there is an intercom on the wall to your left. Locate the entrance to the foot bridge on your right. If you need a ticket, continue, past the corner of the building to locate the vending machine in front of you.
As you move onto the bridge, you go down a slope. At the bottom, turn left for the eastbound, platform 2 and Staines line, platform 1. Continue to the end and turn right for the westbound, platform 3.
Go down two flights of wooden stairs. platform 1 (for Staines) is to your left, you're at the rear of the departing train; platform 2, eastbound is to your right, you're about in the middle of the train.
Go down two flights of stone steps, turn right and down another flight onto the platform. You're at the rear of the train.
How do I…?
