THE LOMOND SUITE

Overview

This is the main events space on Level 0. The suite consists of three rooms: Kilsyth, Moorfoot and Tinto, which can be opened into a single, large space as necessary.

Each room is reached via the Level 0 Passage. There are two entrances to each room. At each entrance, you go through a set of pull double doors into a lobby, then through another set of pull double doors into the room itself.

The Kilsyth Room

To Reach

From the Concierge Desk, pass the Main Entrance on your right then turn left and follow the right-hand side into the Level 0 Passage. Go through a set of push double doors, the first entrance to the Kilsyth Room is immediately on your left. Continue through another set of push double doors in the passage to find the second entrance, on your left, after a few metres.

Layout

This room has a curved outside wall, a narrow far wall and the side walls slope in towards the far end. This is one of the three rooms that comprise the Lomond Suite. The Right-hand wall is a partition that can be opened as necessary.

The Moorfoot Room

This is the middle of the three rooms of the Lomond Suite.

To Reach

You can leave the Concierge Desk, pass the Main Entrance on your right then turn left and follow the right-hand side into the Level 0 Passage. Go through two sets of push double doors. The first set of pull double doors, on your left, is the second entrance to the Kilsyth Room. Continue to the next set of double doors on your left for the Moorfoot Room. Note that the Lomond Foyer is beyond this entrance.

Alternatively, you can continue, past the Cloak Room, on your left, into the Level 0 Passage. You go through two sets of push double doors. The first set of pull double doors on your right, after a few metres, leads to the Tinto Room, whilst the second set leads to the Moorfoot Room. Note that the Lomond Foyer is beyond this entrance.

Layout

This is the middle room of the Lomond Suite with both side walls opening as necessary. This room has a curved outside wall, a narrow far wall and the side walls slope in towards the far end. Note that each set of doors juts into the room, the outer doors are inline with the main walls. There’s a blank door from the Lomond Foyer between the two sets of main doors to this room.

The Tinto Room

To Reach

Continue, past the Cloak Room, on your left, into the Level 0 Passage. You go through a set of push double doors. The first set of pull double doors on your right leads into the Tinto Room. You can continue, through a second set of push double doors in the passage, the first set of pull double doors on your right, after a few metres, leads to the Tinto Room, whilst the second set leads to the Moorfoot Room.
