Introduction

We are gradually building up a comprehensive guide to Glasgow's shopping areas and public buildings. Please visit this section of our site and watch this exciting project develop.

Unlike our work in Watford, where Terry left the area almost as soon as we'd mapped the centre of the town, we've already gained support of representatives within Glasgow City Council, RNIB and Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT). We intend to expand and maintain this work for the foreseeable future. We recognise that some of our street information is out of date and this will be rectified when resources permit.

We've adopted some slightly different techniques for explaining road junctions and other features. Apart from preserving the flow of information as you move along a particular street, we hope we only need to describe things once, which should make maintenance of the site easier and reduce the risk of errors.
