DESCRIBE ONLINE

Date of description: 30 January 2017
Time of description: 12:30pm

Introduction

The bus Station itself is based in a busy roadway and in general the traffic has right of way. We will therefore suggest the safest places to cross throughout the description. We also suggest where ever possible to gain support from station staff who are available for assistance from 8.30am to 4.30pm or the travel centre staff who are available from 9am to 5pm Monday-Saturday. It is advisable to check with the travel centre a month in advance regarding bank holiday opening times.

Key to description

The scope of this description will cover the internal areas and up to 30-50 metres surrounding the building or bus station.

We will be using compass directions together with solid object locaters. i.e. North is the entrance, south the exit and East, left is a row of shops and to the right west you can find the platforms from 1 to 8.

Covered walkways

A covered walk way has glass on both sides with a roof and often access doors or exits and entrances either leading to road crossings or the bus drop off point.

Stances

A stance is a bus stop.
