LOOKING AT DESIGN

Describe Online

How Things We Make Change Our Lives for Better or Worse

Does it Hold Water? – what makes a good coffee pot or container for pouring liquids.

Strutting Your Stuff – 18th-century dresses required a particular posture and a graceful style of dance.

Design is for Us – What is ‘good’ and ‘bad’ design and what inspires it?

Enginuity – The Anderson Special car combines good engineering with ingenuity and innovation.

Swift, Safe, Sure – the George Bennie Railplane – this rapid passenger transport design was innovative, but a commercial failure.
