THE BAKERLOO LINE CONCOURSE

DESCRIBE ONLINE

Overview

This concourse is at street level, being accessed by the Baker Street North entrance (from the west) and Baker Street South entrance (from the south). The escalators to the Bakerloo and Jubilee lines leave from the north, whilst the passage to the Metropolitan Line concourse leaves to the east.

The area outside the gates is an irregular shaped space in which the south and west sides are complicated by the series of retail outlets between the two entrances serving this concourse. This area is divided by a line of pillars between the north wall of the passage to the Metropolitan Line concourse and that from the Baker Street North entrance.

The area inside the gates is a simple rectangle with the gate line to the south and west plus escalators to the lower concourse at the north side.
