To Platforms 3 - 4, Metropolitan Line To Platform 6, Circle Line Westbound To Platforms 7 - 8, Bakerloo and Jubilee Line Southbound To Platforms 9 - 10, Bakerloo and Jubilee Line Northbound |
Rather than go through the Metropolitan Line concourse, it may be easier to go towards the front of the departing train and use the north bridge. You go up two flights of steps, turn right then take the turning right, down two flights of steps onto the platform. Platform 3 is to your right, you're beside the rear half of the arriving trains.
Go towards the front of the terminating train (platform 1) or towards the rear of the through train (platform 2) to locate the steps to the Metropolitan Line concourse. Note that if you overshoot these, you can continue through to platform 5.
Go up two flights of steps into the concourse, turn left, continue to the wall, then turn right and continue to the downward steps in front of you. Go down eight steps and continue, across the bridge, following the right-hand side. Take the turning right, down two flights of steps onto the platform, you're near the rear of the train.
You need to find the downward steps, leading towards the front of departing trains, about in the middle of the platform. if you find upward steps, you've overshot to either bridge. There are railings around the stairwell.
Go down two flights of steps into the lower concourse, turn right and follow the right-hand wall, past the gap leading to steps up to platforms 3 - 4, to the escalator to the southbound platforms. At the bottom, turn left for the Jubilee Line, platform 7, right for the Bakerloo Line, platform 8, you're near the front of the train.
You need to find the downward steps, leading towards the front of departing trains, about in the middle of the platform. if you find upward steps, you've overshot to either bridge. There are railings around the stairwell.
Go down two flights of steps into the lower concourse, turn right, locate the gap towards the steps to platforms 3 - 4 then turn left, just before this, towards the escalators. The right-hand escalator is normally the one you need, go down to the central reservation between the northbound platforms.
For the Bakerloo Line, platform 9, turn right, then take the first turning right and continue onto the platform. You're about in the middle of the train.
For the Jubilee Line, platform 10, continue forward, ideally into the right-hand of two passages in front of you, onto the platform. You're about in the middle of the train.
The doors will open on your left of through trains (platform 3) and on your right of terminating trains (platform 4).

Go to the front of the train and take any of the turnings left towards platforms 1 - 2. Note that the first two gaps lead into a passage onto platform 1, keep right as there's no barrier between yourself and the track to your left. The last, wider passage, includes the steps up to the Metropolitan Line concourse, we suggest you go to either side of these. If you keep left, you follow the building round onto platform 1, where you turn right. If you keep right, you follow a narrow stretch of platform onto platform 2, keep going. You pass the foot of the steps from the Metropolitan Line concourse. From Here you can follow the instructions from platforms 1 - 2.
It may be easier to avoid the Metropolitan Line concourse and use the west bridge.
Go to the front of the train and turn left into one of the two passages near the end of the platform. Turn right, go up a flight of steps then turn right again and up another flight of steps onto the bridge. At the end, turn right (180 degrees) and go down two flights of steps onto platform 5. Note that the steps down are steeper than the ones you came up and that the landing between the two flights of downward steps is very short.
From here you can follow the instructions from platform 5.

To Platforms 1 - 6, Metropolitan and Circle Lines To Platforms 9 - 10, Bakerloo and Jubilee Lines Northbound |
From the Jubilee Line, platform 7, the doors open on your right as you face the front of the train. Go to the front of the train and turn right, ideally into the third gap from the end of the platform and turn right again towards the escalators.
From the Bakerloo Line, platform 8, the doors open on your left as you face the front of the train, go to the front of the train and turn left, ideally into the last gap before the end of the platform then turn left towards the escalators.
The right-hand escalator is normally the one you need, go up to the lower concourse, follow the right-hand wall, which curves round to your left, until you find the turning right towards the escalators to the Bakerloo Line concourse. Cross the passage at this point, to the wall in front of you then turn left.
Take the first turning right, up two flights of steps onto platforms 1 - 2. Platform 1 is to your right, you're about in the middle of the trains. Continue forward, past the steps to the Metropolitan Line concourse, to platform 5.
Take the second turning on your right and go up two flights of steps onto platform 3 - 4, platform 3 is to your right, you're about in the middle of the trains.
For platform 6, continue forward, locate the steps to the Metropolitan Line concourse then go up two flights of steps into the concourse. Continue forward to the downward steps in front of you. Go down eight steps then continue over the bridge, following the right-hand side. Take the turning right, down two flights of steps onto the platform, you're near the rear of the train.
I think the easiest way to do this is via the steps from the second gap from the rear end of either platform. These take you into the west passage in the central reservation between the northbound platforms 9 - 10. The first gap is simply a through passage. Note that the signage around these passages is confusing in that both top and bottom of the steps between platforms 8 and 9 are signed as exit. All steps are divided by a central rail and we understand you're meant to keep left.
From the Jubilee Line, platform 7, go towards the rear of the train and turn left into the second gap from the end of the platform. turn right, go up a flight of steps into the west passage.
From the Bakerloo Line, platform 8, go towards the rear of the train and turn right into the second gap before the end of the platform. Turn left and go up a flight of steps into the west passage.
For the Bakerloo Line, platform 9, turn left and continue onto the platform, you're near the front of the train.
For the Jubilee Line, platform 10, turn right and continue onto the platform, you're near the front of the train.

From the Bakerloo (platform 9), the doors open on your right as you face the front of the train,the exit is opposite the third carriage from the front of the train. Enter the exit and follow the passage to the right, the escalator to the lower concourse is on your right.
From the northbound Jubilee (platform 10), the doors open on your left as you face the front of the train, the exit is approximately opposite the middle of the train; take the right hand passage of two which are adjacent at this point. Continue straight on to reach the escalator to the lower concourse in front of you.
The right-hand escalator is normally the one you need, go up to the lower concourse and continue to the wall in front of you.
Turn right then take the turning left, up two flights of steps onto platforms 1 - 2. Platform 1 is to your right, you're about in the middle of the trains. Continue forward, past the steps to the Metropolitan Line concourse, to platform 5.
Turn left then take the turning right and go up two flights of steps onto platform 3 - 4, platform 3 is to your right, you're about in the middle of the trains.
For platform 6, continue forward, locate the steps to the Metropolitan Line concourse then go up two flights of steps into the concourse. Continue forward to the downward steps in front of you. Go down eight steps then continue over the bridge, following the right-hand side. Take the turning right, down two flights of steps onto the platform, you're near the rear of the train.
