This is an island platform with platform 1 (west of platform 2) being a terminus, whilst platform 2 is the through platform for northbound services.
Platform 1 extends beyond platform 2 by about one car length. A metal barrier runs along the right-hand (east) side of platform 1, for the length of this extension, with a barrier across the end. Note that this part of the platform is very narrow.
Two passages link these platforms to platform 5. The west passage, leading south from platform 1 is divided into two at the south (platform 5) end by a single pillar. Note that the west wall of this passage ends with a short barrier beside the start of the track, then no tactile paving beyond this – keep right!
A broader (east) passage including the stairs from the Metropolitan Line concourse, joins platforms 5 and 2. You can keep left of these stairs and follow the passage through to platform 1, or follow the right-hand wall onto platform 2. Note that the section of platform 2 beside the stairs from the Metropolitan Line concourse is very narrow.
Stairs in the middle of this island platform lead to the lower concourse and from there towards the Bakerloo and Jubilee lines, whilst stairs towards the north end lead onto the north bridge which joins these platforms to platforms 3 and 4.
There's no tactile paving along the edge of these platforms.
