STAIRS AND STEP-FREE ACCESS
There is lift access between King William Street and the DLR platforms. There is also a step-free route between the Intermediate Level and the Waterloo & City Line.
There is stairs-only access between the Bank Concourse and street level. The Waterloo & City Line can be reached via travellator or a series of short flights of steps from the Bank Concourse.
There is escalator-only access between the Central Line Concourse and the Central Line platforms, though there is lift and escalator access between the Northern Line Concourse and the Intermediate Level from which there is stairs access to the DLR, Central and Northern Line platforms.
We therefore believe that only the routes between King William Street and the DLR plus the lift and step-free route between the DLR and Waterloo & City Line could be accessible to wheelchair users.
We believe the station is accessible to Guide Dog users via the Northern Line Concourse or via the routes to/from the Waterloo & City Line unless you can arrange for an escalator from the Central Line Concourse to be stopped. There are also Guide Dog accessible routes between all platforms via the Intermediate Level.
