FIND A PLATFORM FROM THE ENTRANCE |
Describe Online |
The four platforms in this station are assigned as follows:
Note that southbound services from either platform can serve either the Charing Cross or City branch via King's Cross. You should either observe notices on the platform/train or listen for announcements. At the time of our survey, we relied on on-train announcements, which may not be easy when the station is crowded.
There is tactile paving along the edge of all platforms in this station. Note that there's a metal rail along the middle of the platform, opposite the entrance with yellow strips on the floor suggesting you move to either side of this rail to reach the train.
From the entrance, on Kentish Town Road, go up four steps into the concourse. The gate line is in front of you and the ticket sales windows are just before this, on your right. There's a Wide Aisle Gate at the right-hand end of the gate line and the automatic entrances are to your left of this. Go through the gates, turn right and follow the right-hand side of the concourse, to the escalators. The right-hand escalator is normally the one you need, go down to Level -1.

Take the first turning left and continue onto the platform, we believe you're near the front of the train.
Continue to the wall in front of you, turn left and go down two flights of steps then continue onto the platform. We believe you're beside the rear half of the train.
Take the first turning right and continue onto the platform. We believe you're about in the middle of the train.
