The station lies underneath the west section of Cannon Street Mainline Station, which is in the southeast corner of the junction between Cannon Street (east/west) and Dowgate Hill (north/south).
Bush Lane (south) lies east of the mainline station. this is a quiet street you may need to cross to reach the bus stop on the south side of Cannon Street.
There are two entrances/exits from the street, one on the south side of Cannon Street and the other on the east side of Dowgate Hill. The entrance/exit to the mainline station was blocked at the time of our survey.
You go up one step, going south then down 11 steps, going south into the concourse.
You go down two steps, going east into a short passage with a blank door on each side, then continue east into the concourse.
The tactile paving outside the Cannon Street exit leads to the crossing of Cannon Street. This is a single-stage crossing with tactile paving and sounder. The post, with push button and rotating cone, is to your right as you cross in either direction.
There's no pedestrian controlled crossing, though this seemed to be a relatively quiet road at the time of our survey.
