FIND A PLATFORM FROM AN ENTRANCE
There are two entrances into the concourse from the street. The entrance from Cannon Street Mainline Station was blocked at the time of our survey. We'll include details of alternative routes in this section.
From the lower concourse leave via the left-hand of the two exits. Turn left at street level then take the first turning left, go up one step then go down a flight of steps into the Underground Concourse.
Note that the exit to Dowgate Hill is open between 07:00 and 10:00 Monday to Friday. If you leave via this exit, turn left at street level then take the first turning left and go down two steps into the Dowgate Hill entrance of the Underground concourse.
Go up one step then down a flight of steps from street level into the concourse. The ticket sales windows are towards the left-hand end of the far wall and the gate line is to your left.
From street level, go down two steps into a short passage leading into the concourse. The ticket sales windows are at the far end of the right-hand wall and the gate line is in front of you.
As you face the gate line, the manual gate is at the right-hand end and the automatic entrances are to your left of this. Note that there's a pillar between the right-hand automatic gate and the others. Go through the gates.
Locate the passage to the bridge, which is at the right-hand of the wall in front of you. You'll need to turn left onto the bridge, so if you can't do this, move right and go into the gap then turn left.
Take the first turning right, down two flights of steps to platform level then turn left. You're near the rear of the train.
Continue, down four steps, take the turning left and go down two flights of steps to platform level and turn left. You're about in the middle of the train.
