WIDE AISLE GATES
London Underground is installing Wide Aisle Gates (WAGs) in many of its stations.
These are wide automatic gates, suitable for use by wheelchair users, those with Guide or Assistance dogs and customers with large luggage or pushchairs.
They’re operated in the same way as the normal automatic gates and there will normally be one in the entrance and exit section of each gate line.
In some stations, such as Victoria, Wide Aisle Gates have replaced the manual gates, though staff are still on hand to assist as necessary.
There's a Wide Aisle Gate to each side of the block of automatic gates in the concourse. Note, I use this term since the manual gate is in the left-hand corner, separated from the main gate line by the rear of the assistance box. The left-hand gate is normally the one you need.
Note there is neither a Wide Aisle or manual gate at the Marylebone road entrance.
