Euston – Change Platforms

Overview

This section describes routes amongst the two island platforms of the Victoria and Northern Line (Bank Branch) which are normally reached via escalators from the intermediate level and the island platform of the Northern Line (Charing Cross Branch) to which there is only stairs access from the intermediate level.

If an escalator between the intermediate level and platform isn’t available, the other one of that set is normally upward. This may require you to use the spiral staircase to reach platform level.

From the Northern Line, platform 6, go towards the rear of the train and, ideally, turn left into the first passage into the central reservation. Cross this area and turn right. The up escalator should be in front of you.

From the Victoria Line, platform 5, go towards the front of the train and turn right, ideally into the third passage into the central reservation and turn left. The upward escalator should be in front of you.

Continue forward from the top of the escalator.
