There is now lift access between platform 1, westbound and street level via two lifts.
Lift A runs between street level and Level -1, the concourse, whilst Lift B runs between Level -1 and Level -2, platform 1.
Each lift has clear spoken announcements and the call button is to your left of the door as you face each lift at each level.
The lift is in front of you as you come in from Gower Street. The call button (down) is to your left (northwest of the door, you go in facing northeast.
This is the second lift on your left, as you move away from the gate line, just before the foot of the steps.
The call button (up) is to your left (northwest) of the door, you go in facing northeast.
The control panel is to your right (southeast) as you go into the lift. The buttons are arranged in three rows:
This is the first lift on your left as you move away from the gate line. There's an Oyster card reader to each side of the door. The call button (down) is to your left of the door, you go in facing east.
The lift is a at the end of a short passage beyond the steps from platform 1. The exit is near the front of the train, go into the exit passage, turn left across the foot of the steps, turn right then take the turning left. The lift door is in front of you at the end of this passage. The call button (up) is to your left of the door.
There's a control panel to each side. The buttons are arranged in four rows, from the top:
