You access the mainline platforms from the east concourse. So:

From the Seven sisters Road entrance, continue along the passage and take the turning on your right.

From the Wells Terrace entrance, continue, down the slope and take the turning on your left, at the foot of the slope.

Go along the passage, down and up the slope, into the east concourse, then turn left. Continue, past the ticket sales windows, to the wall at the end of the concourse, then turn left into the passage.

The east concourse lies adjacent to Station Place bus station. There are three entrances to this concourse, one at each end (narrow sides) and another next to the bus station. As you face away from the bus station, you need to locate the passage which leaves from the far right hand corner of the concourse. There are ticket sales windows to your left as you face this passage.

Enter the passage and go up either of the two sets of stairs to your right, before turning left again at the top. Follow the left hand side of this passage to locate stairs to the mainline island platforms 1-2, 3-4, then 5-6. You go up two flights of stairs onto each island platform, near the south end of the islands.
