THE NORTHBOUND PLATFORMS |

This is an island platform from which trains run north from the station. Platform 1, Piccadilly Line lies west of platform 2, Victoria Line.
There are six passages between the platforms, from the rear of the train, these are:
For the Underground station, the intention to have people keeping to the left will determine which passage is entrance or exit according to where you've come from. If you've arrived from the Wells Terrace or Seven Sisters entrance, you'll arrive in the third passage from the rear, whilst if you arrive from the Station Place entrance you'll be in the passage nearest the rear of the trains.
Similarly, on leaving the platform, if you're going to the Station Place exit, you should leave via the third passage from the rear of the trains, whilst for the other exits, you should leave via the passage nearest the rear.
At the time of our survey, we found people broadly sticking to this rule.
The route to/from the mainline station is the second passage from the front of the train.
There is no tactile paving along the edge of these platforms.
From the passage, using the left-hand ssteps, go down 19 then 18 steps, going south to platform level. Platform 1, Piccadilly Line, northbound is to your right; platform 2, Victoria Line, northbound to your left; you're at the rear of the train.
Leave the passage facing north, there's a help point on your left before you reach the top of the steps. Using the left-hand steps, go down 16 then 17 steps, going north to platform level. Platform 1, Piccadilly Line is to your left, whilst platform 2, Victoria Line is to your right. You're about in the middle of the train.
From the intermediate level, go down three flights of 17 steps, spiralling anti-clockwise to platform level. At the foot of the steps, platform 1, Piccadilly Line is to your left, whilst platform 2, Victoria Line is to your right. You're beside the front half of the train.
Take the third passage from the rear of the train then turn towards the rear of the train and, using the left-hand steps, go up 17 then 16 steps, going south to the passage. There's a help point on your right between the top of the steps and the passage. Turn left for the Station Place exit.
Take the passage nearest the rear of the train then turn towards the front of the train and, using the left-hand steps, go up 18 then 19 steps, going north to the passage, turn left and continue to the T-junction. Turn left for the Seven Sisters Road, right for the Wells Terrace exit.
Take the second passage from the front of the train, turn towards the rear of the train and go up three flights of 17 steps, spiralling clockwise to the intermediate level.
