This is an island platform running east/west with platform 1, westbound lying south of platform 2, eastbound.
The escalators to/from the concourse enter the central reservation at the west end of the platforms. Moving away from this, there are four passages between the platforms:
There is tactile paving along the edge of these platforms.
The escalators to/from the Piccadilly Line leave from the northeast corner of the concourse, going east. The right-hand escalator is normally the one you need.
Go down to Piccadilly Line level, you're at the west end of the central reservation, which is actually off the west end of the platforms.

The left hand wall juts out, forcing you to your right onto the west end of the platform.
