There is level access from the south entrance onto platform 1 and from the main concourse onto platform 6. Other platforms are reached via the bridge towards the west end of the station which can be accessed via stairs or lifts.

The entrance to platforms is on the north side of the south concourse. You go out onto a raised area with a rail in front of you, automatic gates to your left and a bi-directional Wide Aisle Gate to your right. Having gone through the gates, you go down a ramp onto the platform.
The rear door of 4 car trains is opposite the entrance.
There is no tactile paving along the edge of this platform.

The ramp starts here. You can either follow the rail to your right, up the ramp or move right, beyond the rail to continue along the flat platform. Note that the rail is located just inside the row of pillars which runs along the middle of the platform.

To continue to the lift, move right, across the foot of the stairs and follow the building on your left. A drainage gulley along the platform runs just to your right (north) of the steps, this could be a useful guide.

Platform 3 has been extended at each end, beyond the end of platform 2 to accommodate longer trains. There were no features of interest in the extended sections at the time of our survey.

There's a girder either side of the lift door. The call and intercom buttons are to the right of the door. Beyond the lift shaft, the open platform continues to a slope with rail partially across the end of platform 2. Platform 3 continues, with the rail on the south side, narrowing towards the slope at the end.

About ten metres west of this, the stairs go up to the bridge. There's a pillar to each side at the start of the stair well.

A rail, with bike parks runs along the north side of the platform. There's a walk way between this and the buildings.

About ten metres west of here, the stairs go up to the bridge, there's a pillar either side, at the start of the stair well.

The lift door is about ten metres west of the end of the building. The call button is to your right, there's a pillar either side of the door.

Note, to the west of the lift shaft, there's a rail along the platform on the north side beside the empty track bed. You'd normally come out of the lift, turn right onto the platform and follow the stair well round to your left. The top of the ramp is just north of the foot of the stairs, going down to the west.
Note, the five steps to the corner of the ramp are to your left as you come out of the lift. Move forward about 2 metres, turn left to find the low rail with a kerb round, go round the left end of this rail to locate the steps, which go down east.
