THE PLATFORMS

Describe Online

Overview

There is level access from the south entrance onto platform 1 and from the main concourse onto platform 6. Other platforms are reached via the bridge towards the west end of the station which can be accessed via stairs or lifts.

See the lifts and bridge pages for details.

The entrance to platforms is on the north side of the south concourse. You go out onto a raised area with a rail in front of you, automatic gates to your left and a bi-directional Wide Aisle Gate to your right. Having gone through the gates, you go down a ramp onto the platform.
