WIDE AISLE GATES
London Underground is installing Wide Aisle Gates (WAGs) in many of its stations.
These are wide automatic gates, suitable for use by wheelchair users, those with Guide or Assistance dogs and customers with large luggage or pushchairs.
They’re operated in the same way as the normal automatic gates and there will normally be one in the entrance and exit section of each gate line.
In some stations, such as Victoria, Wide Aisle Gates have replaced the manual gates, though staff are still on hand to assist as necessary.
There are two bi-directional Wide Aisle Gates in this station.
At the south entrance, leave the concourse towards platform 1, the Wide Aisle Gate is to your right, at the top of the ramp onto the platform.
At the main entrance, the Wide Aisle Gate is at the far end of the gate line as you enter the station, left-hand end as you leave.
