This is a through station on the Circle and District Line (Wimbledon Branch). It is also the terminus for the District Line (Kensington Olympia Branch). Some District Line trains terminate here during peak hours or, as we found during our survey, when there are problems on the District Line.
There are four platforms, running north/south numbered from east to west.
There's a level walkway between platform 2 - 3 and 4 across the end of track 3.
The entrance to the station leads south through a small shopping mall into the concourse which is separated from the bridge by the gate line running east/west.
The bridge, running east/west, gives stairs access to all platforms. There are two sets of steps (north and south) to platform 1, though only one set of steps, leading south to platforms 2 - 3 and to platform 4.
There is stairs-only access between street and platform level. There is level access between platforms 2 - 3 and 4, though platform 4 is only used during peak hours or to hold trains when there are problems on the District Line.
We therefore believe this station is accessible to Guide Dog users, but not to wheelchairs.
