The doors open on your right as you face the front of the train, there's tactile paving along the edge of these platforms.
This is the new part of the station which provides exits near either end of the train, however, if you need the lift, you'll need to get out near the west end of the train - the front of westbound, rear of eastbound services.
From either end of the train, you can move to the wall, turn back (towards the other end of the train) and go through the first gap in the wall. Continue in your original direction and go up the two flights of steps in front of you, to the concourse (Level -1).
Note that at the west end, you'll find the lift to your right of the foot of the steps.
If you took the east route (rear of westbound, front of eastbound trains) continue to the upward steps at the west end of this space and turn right towards the gate line. The manual gate is at your left-hand end of this, beside the exit gates.
If you took the west route (rear of eastbound, front of westbound trains), turn left at the top of the stairs. The gate line is in front of you with the manual gate at the left-hand end, beside the exit gates.
Go Through the GatesGo to the front of westbound (rear of eastbound) trains, turn back (east) and go through the first gap, into the west section of the Level -2 area. Continue (east), following the right-hand wall and locate the door to the lift, in front of you. Go up to Level -1. Having left the lift, turn left towards the gate line. The manual gate is at the left-hand end of the gate line, beside the exit gates. Go through the gates.
From here, you can turn right (east) towards the lift outside King's cross Mainline Station or left (west) towards the lift outside St Pancras.
As you continue (east) you come to the foot of the steps in front of you and the lift door to your left of these. Enter the lift (facing east), go to Level 0 and come out (still facing east). The entrance to King's Cross Mainline Station is to your left, follow the left-hand wall round into the main concourse. If you already have your ticket you can make your way to the platform.
Turn left (west) and locate the lift in the right-hand corner. Enter the lift (facing west), go up to Level 0 then leave the lift (still facing west). Turn Right (180 degrees, east), follow the left-hand wall and go through one of the four gaps which form the entrance to St Pancras Station. If you already have your ticket, you can make your way to the platform.
Unlike most island platforms, the doors will open on your left as you face the front of the train. There is no tactile paving along the edge of these platforms. The main exit is towards the west end of the platform - the rear of northbound (front of southbound) trains, whilst the exit to Pentonville Road is at the opposite end of the platform.
