FIND AN EXIT FROM A PLATFORM

DESCRIBE ONLINE

Overview

Following the opening of the Northern Concourse, there are now ten exits from this station which we can consider in two groups - those leaving the Western and Tube concourses and those which leave the Northern Concourse. The first group includes the two exits to Euston Road South, the three exits from the Western Concourse, the exit to the forecourt of King's Cross Mainline and the new exit into the Main Concourse of King's Cross Mainline Station. The second group includes the new exits to the King's Cross Suburban and St Pancras stations. The passage to the Pentonville Road exit is now the Level -2 passage from the Northern Concourse.

Except for the route to the Main Concourse of King's Cross Mainline Station, the routes to the first group of exits is little changed, except for the addition of lift access from the Piccadilly and Victoria lines. The route to the Main Concourse of King's Cross Mainline Station provides stairs and lift access from the Level -1 passage.

The second group introduces new routes through the Northern Concourse, including lift access between the mainline stations and the Piccadilly and Victoria lines. note that lift access to the Northern Line will be via the Tube Concourse from mid 2010.

The Northern Concourse is being designated as the main ticket hall, though the other concourses will remain open.

We include routes from each platform to each exit. Attention is drawn to our route to RNIB Judd Street, which is reached via the Euston Road South or Euston Road North exits.
