THE JUBILEE LINE PLATFORMS

Describe Online

Overview

This is an island platform running northeast/southwest, with a large, central reservation with escalators at each end and stairs to passage 5, see General Description in the middle.

There are barriers, with doors along the edge of each platform. These doors are only open whilst a train is standing at the platform.

A passage near the northeast end of each platform leads towards the lift between here and the main concourse.

To Reach

From the main concourse, you go down the escalators leading down south into passage 1 which veers right (southwest), then down a second set of escalators to the northeast end of the reservation between the platforms. Platform 3, westbound is to your left (southeast, platform 4, eastbound to your right (northwest).

Passage 5 leading from the Northern Line joins from the right (northwest) onto the top of the central stairs. From here, you go down 18 steps, in either direction to platform level.
